Trump’s MAGA Party ‘big, beautiful, perfect’ war against Iran seems to be faltering against the economic reality that US President’s having waged war on Iran for 47 years attempted to avoid. What was the reason Bush sent US troops to liberate Kuwait in 1990 ? It might be because the US actually supported Saddam Hussein prior to that because in 1980 Iraq attacked Iran? Both wars saw attacks against the oil supplied from this area. Iran early on defeated the US/Saudi backed Iraqis then demanded a regime change in Baghdad much like Trump’s MAGA Party is hoping for in Iran. The US increased arms supplied to Iraq and Saddam began attacking Iranian oil shipping and supplied leaving through the Persian Gulf. The US taxpayers spent billions feeding Iraq with expensive smart weapons to attack Iran. US Taxpayers paid to use US Navy Ships to defend Iraq’s and Kuwait’s oil tankers attacked by an angry Persian Iran which had then been defending itself against US/Saudi financed aggression for 6 years. The US Republican governments have always believed in going to war to protect the world’s oil resources.

Trump’s MAGA party is doing exactly what Republicans have always done. They spend US military blood to defend the world’s economic need for oil so it can buy from US markets. US soldiers died defending the price of oil for China, Japan, South Africa, Europe even Columbia for billionaire owned corporations in the US. MAGA likes to paint Iran as the evil villain here but maybe it could be 47 years of a thirst for oil by the West and the US that had formed their opinions. Israel and its aspect in the conflict is merely a side show for leverage.

The US has now created by its own hand the need to convoy the world’s oil out of a war with the Iranians.

Democrats under Biden and Obama were trying to forge a path out of endless wars and defense of the world’s endless thirst for petroleum. The latter providing a path for improving the possibility of mankind surviving the possible reality of climate change with green energy advancements and reduction of the inefficient use of petroleum in internal combustion type automobile engines.

Trump’s MAGA party rallied against these initiatives in favor of maintaining the endless war for resources. It was not because of any real need of oil, they rallied, rather in the dream that surrounds oil and the ability to become wealthier by extracting the world’s economic wealth by using it so ineffectually.
